About author +
Božidar Aleksandrović was born among the vineyards at the foot of Oplenac, where wine has always been more than a drink—it was a way of life, a part of identity, and a family tradition. His book takes the reader on a journey through a childhood spent among the vines, childhood dreams, and the first harvests, through years of renewal and growth, tracing the path toward the creation of a modern winery that has become a symbol of Serbia’s new wine culture.
“I never did this job for the money. Simply put, the secret to success is not chasing money. Whoever chased money never truly caught it, nor achieved anything meaningful. You have to live it—you have to go to bed with it and wake up with it. The moment you open your eyes in the morning, you must be living it. You have to dream it—because if you don’t dream it, you’ll never reach your goal.”
