After its exceptional success at the Decanter WWA, the most influential wine competition globally, our wine Vožd has been included among the top 15 Cabernet Sauvignons in the world, according to Decanter. Vožd, from the 2017 vintage, won a gold medal and scored 95 points, placing it alongside top Cabernet Sauvignons from regions such as France, Italy, California, Chile, South Africa, and Australia.
Decanter’s experts praised Vožd for its layered aromas of ripe fruit, herbs, and the elegance that comes with aging. They described it as follows: “Wonderfully evolved characters of mellow wood, clove, and leather, with layer upon layer of lush plums, cassis, sloe berries, and dried herbs. Complete and refined.”
This success confirms the strength of the Šumadija terroir and places Vožd alongside globally recognized names. This recognition is yet another confirmation that Serbia produces wines capable of competing with the best from the world’s most famous wine regions.Link to article: Decanter
