According to our head oenologist, Vladan Nikolić, the 2024 vintage is one of the best so far – a completely new dimension of Pinot Noir.
Key characteristics:
Intense ruby color
Aromas of ripe cherry and plum
Subtle spicy notes balanced with fruit
Silky tannins and pleasant acidity
Elegant and long-lasting finish
Vineyard and origin:
Šumadija, Oplenac wine region – Bokanja Hill
South-east exposure, 5 hectares of vineyards, 335 m altitude
Soil: clay-loam with sand and stone
Production:
Hand-harvested and carefully selected grapes
Cold maceration for 5–7 days
Fermentation at lower temperatures
Aged for 12 months:
30% French oak barriques
70% large Slavonian oak barrels (4,000 L)
